As a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT), you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our animal patients while supporting our veterinary team. Your expertise will shine as you assist in various procedures, manage animal health records, and ensure a safe and welcoming environment for both animals and their owners. What you'll do



Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and other medical procedures. Perform laboratory tests, including blood work and urinalysis, to aid in diagnosis. Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian. Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with veterinary protocols. Provide compassionate care and support to animals during their stay. Educate pet owners on proper animal care, nutrition, and preventive health measures. Utilize aseptic techniques during procedures to maintain a sterile environment. Handle and restrain animals safely for examinations and treatments.

Basic qualifications



Proven experience in veterinary settings with a strong understanding of veterinary terminology. Knowledge of animal anatomy, physiology, and husbandry practices.

Preferred qualifications



Experience with dog handling, animal catheterization, and restraint techniques. Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures related to pet grooming. Background in veterinary critical care or laboratory work is highly desirable. Experience with equine care is a plus.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week
