Job Description

As the RVP - Operations, you will lead the strategic and tactical execution for an integrated supply chain services network for a substantial number manufacturing/distribution facilities across a defined geographic region. You will implement operational efficiency improvements to deliver year over year productivity, increase site throughput and expand network capacity. You will deploy and reinforce Wesco operating model including safety, customer satisfaction, quality control, standardization of systems and financial performance.


Responsibilities:



Lead a multi-level operations team across a substantial number of regional sites to achieve safety, on-time delivery, quality, working capital and cost productivity objectives. Responsible for internal controls, inventory accuracy and variances and expense management. Leverage lean best practices and data driven problem solving to drive continuous improvement in key performance indicators. Reinforce tiered daily management to engage the local team members, increase transparency of challenges & opportunities, and escalate issues for quick resolution. Work with business units, advanced operations and other business partners to develop and deploy the regional strategy to meet strategic business objectives including customer experience SLA's, sales growth and margin targets. Transform the regional supply chain network to deliver new products and services, align with Wesco Operating Model, deploy warehouse management systems and implement automation. Coach and mentor regional leaders and talent to build pipeline of successors, along with build skills and capabilities needed to achieve business objectives.

Qualifications:



Bachelors Degree - Business Administration or related field required; Masters Degree preferred 15 years of experience in manufacturing and/or advanced distribution Experience in leading technological and cultural change in a growing organization Leading in a unionized environment a team of 100 associates or greater P&L responsibility for a facility 250,000 sqft or larger LEAN manufacturing, Six Sigma and/or distribution experience Experienced in identifying and implementing projects such as automation, kaizens, facility redesign, etc. to drive throughput and efficiency Focus on maintaining a safe, employee centric workplace Business and leadership principles, including strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources Principles and processes for providing customer and personal services, including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction Ability to explain, and in selected areas, teach appropriate policies, procedures, and associated practices Proven track record of data driven problem solving and project management Strong verbal, written, analytical, persuasion and interpersonal skills Strong time management skills Strong computer skills Demonstrate teamwork, leadership, and flexibility Ability to travel 50% - 75%

Compensation Details $186,529 - $261,140 Annually

This amount is what we reasonably believe we will pay for the position; however, offer amounts may vary based on factors such as geographic location, relevant education, experience, qualifications, skills, shift, or any collective bargaining agreements.



For eligible positions, compensation may include participation in a bonus or sales incentive plan, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plan documents. For certain sales roles, Wesco also offers a commission structure that provides additional compensation based on sales results, as defined by the applicable commission plan. Depending on the role, equity and other forms of compensation may also be provided as part of the total compensation package.
