WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: * Able to perform proper Preventive Maintenance including oil changes, lube, and filters * Valve and injector adjustments * Remove and replace steering & chassis components * Troubleshoot and repair all chassis defects * Including ABS systems; air brake systems, wheels end, and structural assemblies * Some welding and fabrication of chassis * Use of mobile app to log work orders and document repairs WHAT YOU CAN BRING TO THE TABLE: * Mechanical background. * Ability to work outside in all types of weather * Ability to work independently and efficiently * Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) * Must be willing to work all shifts as required * Capable of lifting 50 lbs * General lubrication functions including engine oil/filter changes, air filter changes, chassis lubrication * Transmission fluid and filter changes, differential fluid checks, axle/wheel inspection, removal, and replacement of brake components lubrication inspect tire treads inflation, rotation, and wear * Proficient at brake diagnostic-repair & replace/adjustments * Inspect & replace drive line components and basic engine components * Must understand truck air systems * Perform Emergency Road Calls out in field as needed * Follow good housekeeping standards * Must be able to communicate with internal customers * E. other shop associates, drivers, other maintenance shops, etc.) * on such things as stances, wait times, reasons for repair decisions and status updates * Basic diesel mechanic tools required Job Related & Physical Requirements: * Must have valid Driver\'s License, high school diploma or equivalent, Eligible to work in the United States, minimum 3 yrs truck maintenance experience, good computer skills, good customer service skills, must be able to pass physical and drug screen * Must be self-motivated * Able to work independently on location * Must be able to bend/stoop, work long hours if needed APPLY WITH US!
