In this role you deliver mail and packages along routes in rural areas. You also provide a variety of services to customers along your assigned route.

You will be required to use a personal vehicle if a postal vehicle is not provided. As an RCA you may be eligible to receive health benefits and promotion to a career opportunity. We are seeking a dedicated Rural Carrier Associate to join our team. As a Rural Carrier Associate, you will be responsible for delivering mail and packages to rural areas, ensuring timely and accurate delivery services.

Duties

- Load and unload mail and packages onto delivery vehicles

- Perform heavy lifting tasks as needed

- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries

- Follow established routes for efficient delivery services

Skills

Work indoors and outdoors in all weather: rain, snow, cold and heat Sort, lift and push moderate to heavy loads of mail and packages to prepare for delivery Deliver mail along your assigned route Sell stamps, stamped paper and money orders or other services
- Ability to load and unload packages safely and efficiently

- Strong customer service skills to interact with recipients during deliveries

- Capability to handle heavy lifting tasks effectively
