Deer Valley Resort is nestled in the Wasatch Mountains of Utah, in the historic mining town of Park City which has evolved into an exciting and diverse mountain ski town. PURPOSE OF POSITION:

A Bartender is responsible for interacting with guests and ensuring they have an exceptional experience when dining at Deer Valley.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Greet guests and take beverage orders


Prepare alcoholic drinks and other bar beverages as ordered and in compliance with Utah Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control laws


Check identification of guests to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol


Handle an assigned house bank and follow all cash handling procedures


Collect payment for drinks served and balance all receipts


Ensure that the assigned bar area is fully equipped with tools and products needed


Prepare purchase requisitions as needed to replenish supplies


Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of beverage products, menus, and promotions


Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum 2 years of bartending experience preferred


Possess a S.M.A.R.T. Card certification and Utah Food Handlers certification


Able to walk and/or stand for long periods of time


Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.

Winter 2025-26

PAY RATE:

Pay: $11.00 per hour (plus tips)
