Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused

Route Box Truck Driver

to join our logistics and delivery team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a box truck to deliver products to customer locations along a designated route, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries while providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate a box truck in a safe and responsible manner. Deliver products to customers on an established route. Load and unload truck using proper safety procedures. Ensure accuracy of delivery contents and obtain customer signatures or proof of delivery. Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues. Maintain delivery logs and other required documentation. Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse staff, and customers. Adhere to company policies, DOT regulations, and safety guidelines. Provide professional, courteous service and resolve minor customer issues or escalate as needed.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED preferred. Valid driver's license (CDL not typically required but preferred). Clean driving record with 1-2 years of experience driving box trucks preferred. Knowledge of local traffic laws and routes. Strong time management and organizational skills. Ability to lift up to [50-75 lbs], bend, stoop, and perform physical tasks. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.

Working Conditions:

Hours may vary; early morning starts and occasional overtime may be required. Work is performed in all weather conditions. Frequent driving, lifting, and loading/unloading.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $140.00 - $190.00 per day
