Accounting Manager
to join our leadership team in
Columbus, OH

What You'll Be Doing:
As our
Accounting Manager
, you'll oversee the full spectrum of our financial operations, bringing structure, accuracy, and forward-thinking insights to our growing roofing division. You'll be a strategic partner to the executive team and play a vital role in building a scalable accounting infrastructure.
Manage
full-cycle accounting operations
, including general ledger, AP/AR, bank reconciliations, and monthly/annual close
Lead
certified payroll
and ensure
prevailing wage compliance
on public and government-funded projects
Take ownership of
job costing
, financial forecasting, and project-level budgeting
Oversee
cash flow management
and reporting to ensure strong financial positioning
Coordinate
quarterly financial reviews
and collaborate with external accounting partners
Use and optimize
enterprise-level accounting software
(not QuickBooks) to support multi-state, multi-entity operations
Work closely with leadership to inform financial strategy, decision-making, and growth planning
Develop and mentor a growing accounting team to support expanding business operations
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience in
construction or roofing industry accounting
(5+ years preferred)
Deep knowledge of
certified payroll
,
prevailing wage
, and government compliance regulations
Strong background in
job costing
, budgeting, and financial forecasting
Experience with
enterprise-level accounting platforms
such as Viewpoint, Sage, CMiC, or similar
Excellent attention to detail and high-level analytical skills
Prior leadership experience, with the ability to manage and grow a small accounting team
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA a plus, but not required)
Based in or willing to relocate to
Columbus, OH
