Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Roof Repair Technician to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in roofing and general construction, with the ability to perform repairs, installations, and maintenance on various roofing systems. This role requires hands-on expertise, safety awareness, and the ability to work efficiently on residential and commercial projects. The Roof Repair Technician will play a vital part in ensuring the integrity and longevity of roofing structures while adhering to safety standards and project specifications.

Duties

Inspect roofs to identify damage, leaks, or deterioration using blueprint reading and schematics. Perform repairs or replacements of roofing materials such as shingles, metal panels. Utilize hand tools, power tools, caulking guns, and fabrication equipment to execute repair tasks accurately. Assist with construction estimating for project planning and material procurement.

Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely on-site. Apply restoration techniques to extend roof lifespan and improve structural integrity.

Work collaboratively with team members on construction sites while maintaining safety protocols. Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout each project.

Qualifications

Proven experience in roofing, construction

Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, tile laying tools.

Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and working at heights in various weather conditions. Prior experience working on construction sites with a focus on safety standards is essential. Valid (if applicable) or relevant certifications preferred but not mandatory.
