KIE Rolloff at OKIE Rents in Ada, OK

OKIE is a growing Family owned business that rents small to midsized construction equipment and provides rolloffs and frontload waste services to customers in Central and South-central Oklahoma. Our Family-owned business offers all of the benefits of a large company, without the 'corporate' drama and without treating our employees like an easy-to-replace number.

Our rolloff drivers are skilled professionals who maintain a Class A or a Class B license, and who are capable of driving Tandem axle, heavy duty trucks--some automatic and some manuel transmissions. We deliver 15, 20, and 30-yard cans,; we do not provide residential trash services outside of the larger rolloff cans. We also service a small number of Front-load dumpsters.

We conveniently house our trucks at OKIE Rents store locations which are closest to our customers. Our drivers have some flexibility with start times and completed route times depending on their designated routes, however most of our drivers work between 7:00am-5:pm. Our rolloff business is separate from our equipment rental operation, however our rolloff trucks are housed at our rental locations. Our rolloff operation is managed from our Davis, OK OKIE store, but your truck may start and end the day closer to where you live and where you drive your designated route. We have trucks and routes in Ardmore, Davis, Duncan, Ada, Norman and Thackerville.

OKIE has a seasoned Truck Mechanic who is dedicated to our rolloff trucks. Our truck mechanic and our Rolloff Store Manager will review your DVIRs daily, and will work hand in hand with you to ensure the safe operation of your truck. You truck will have a regular schedule of services and inspections of which you will be involved with, along with your truck mechanic.

Your safety and your truck's safety is our North Star. Our trucks are equipped with a front-facing camera, and we ensure your safety by tracking your vehicle from the time you leave and until you have completed your route. Your safety helps us to ensure the safety of others with whom you share the roads. .

Duties

Safely operate a variety of trucks including front loader, roll-off, flatbeds and tractor-trailers Load and unload roll-off containers efficiently using appropriate equipment and techniques. Drive heavy-duty trucks across diverse routes, adhering strictly to traffic laws and safety regulations. Perform routine inspections of trucks and equipment to ensure optimal functioning; report any mechanical issues promptly. Assist the in-house Truck Mechanic and Rolloff Store Manager to maintain accurate records, fuel usage, maintenance activities, and landfill tickets. Communicate professionally with the Rolloff Store Manager and Dispatcher, and other team members to coordinate schedules and ensure timely service. Be Flexible and have a team attitude

Experience

Proven commercial driving experience with a focus on heavy trucks such as dump trucks, flatbeds, or tractor-trailers. Demonstrated ability to operate manual transmission vehicles safely and efficiently. Mechanical knowledge of heavy-duty trucks and related equipment is highly desirable. Prior experience with load & unload procedures involving large containers or materials. Familiarity with safety protocols related to heavy lifting, vehicle inspections, and transportation regulations. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; CDL A or B(Commercial Driver's License) Delivery driver experience involving roll-off or similar container services is a plus.
