Imagine starting your shift, gearing up with PPE, and running a quick pre-operation review with your team. You check inspection logs, walk the line, and help get the rolling mill ready to produce. Throughout the day, you pitch in with Operations Support and Maintenance, keep equipment humming with basic adjustments, and jump on issues fast to keep products moving safely and on time.

What a typical day looks like



Support maintenance personnel when called upon and handle routine fixes independently when appropriate. Follow all safety policies without exception; wear required PPE and immediately report hazards or unsafe conditions. Complete equipment inspection reports every shift and communicate production concerns, needs, and improvement ideas. Execute tasks assigned by Operations Support management safely and on schedule. Perform minor, routine maintenance or repairs without direct maintenance assistance when you're trained to do so. Suggest better methods and procedures as part of continuous improvement. Keep your area clean and organized as part of daily housekeeping. Troubleshoot work issues using your knowledge, experience, and teamwork. Know and follow start-up, shutdown, and emergency procedures.

What you bring



A collaborative mindset, strong work ethic, attention to detail, and solid organizational habits in a fast-paced setting. Comfort working around heat and cold, chemicals, dust, fumes and mists, uneven walking surfaces, high noise, elevated areas, and confined spaces. Basic computer proficiency. Reliable attendance, follow-through on tasks, and flexibility to meet production needs. Ability to learn quickly and handle multiple tasks at once. Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Schedule and pay considerations



Rotating shifts that may include weekends and holidays. Some overtime will be required.

Education



High School Diploma or GED required.
