We are seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Roller Coaster Operator to oversee the operation of thrilling rides at our amusement park. This role requires a strong focus on safety protocols, mechanical understanding, and excellent customer service skills. The ideal candidate will have experience with heavy equipment operation and a background in construction or mechanical work, ensuring smooth and secure ride experiences for our guests. Responsibilities

Safely operate roller coaster machinery and related ride systems, ensuring all safety standards are met. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on ride equipment before each shift. Assist with ride loading and unloading procedures, ensuring guest safety at all times. Monitor ride operations during peak hours, responding promptly to any mechanical issues or safety concerns. Follow all operational guidelines and safety protocols established by park management. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate ride functions and guest safety procedures. Maintain cleanliness and organization around the ride area to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.

Skills

Experience operating heavy equipment, such as excavators, loaders, or dump trucks, is highly desirable. Mechanical knowledge related to amusement rides, construction equipment, or industrial machinery. Familiarity with concrete mixing, paving, rebar installation, concrete forming, or concrete finishing is a plus. Construction site experience or background in commercial vehicle operation, including commercial driving and operating a concrete mixer or pumping equipment. Ability to quickly troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform basic repairs or coordinate maintenance. Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety standards and operational procedures. Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and ensure guest safety.
