Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Roll Off container truck driver to serve our Industrial Roll Off logistics department in a safe and timely manner.

Responsibilities



Serve the commercial route emptying dumpsters and offloading at the landfills Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues Meet delivery schedules Document getting tickets signed and keeping track of landfill tickets Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions Follow special delivery instructions Report defects, accidents or violations

Skills



Proven work experience as a truck driver Hands on experience with hydraulic operating mechanics Ability to drive for 10-12 hours Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations No recent moving or driving violations Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc) Valid Class B or higher CDL license COMMMUNICATION!
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour

Commercial driving: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:

CDL (Required) Air Brake Endorsement (Required) CDL class B or higher (Required)
