robotic systems that support CNC machining operations
, including automated loading and unloading of CNC equipment. This role requires a strong working knowledge of robotics, CNC machining environments, mechanical systems, and manufacturing principles to ensure safe, efficient, and repeatable production.
The CNC Robotics Operator plays a critical role in optimizing automated machining workflows, maintaining uptime, and troubleshooting robotic and CNC-related issues within a production environment focused on quality, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
Operate and monitor
Fanuc and other robotic systems integrated with CNC machines
to ensure safe and efficient production
Load, unload, and manage CNC machining cells using robotic automation
Program, troubleshoot, and maintain robotic systems used in CNC machining applications
Monitor CNC machine interactions including part handling, fixture alignment, and cycle execution
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, CNC setup sheets, and technical drawings
Utilize
AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and vision inspection systems
for system setup, verification, and quality assurance
Perform root cause analysis on robotic or CNC-related equipment failures and process deviations
Support lean manufacturing initiatives by improving automated CNC workflows, reducing cycle time, and minimizing scrap
Maintain accurate documentation of robot programs, CNC cell configurations, maintenance actions, and system changes
Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams on
tooling design, CNC processes, robotic end-of-arm tooling, and system upgrades
Assist with integration and troubleshooting of robotics with CNC machines, fixtures, conveyors, vision systems, PLCs, and DCS platforms
Conduct routine inspections using vision and measurement systems to ensure CNC-produced parts meet specifications
Experience
Proven experience operating
Fanuc robots or similar robotic systems in CNC machining environments
Strong mechanical aptitude related to robotics, CNC machining, tooling, fixturing, and automation equipment
Hands-on experience with robotic programming, CNC cell operation, schematic interpretation, and troubleshooting
Familiarity with CNC machining processes, part handling, and automated manufacturing cells
Experience working with PLCs, DCS platforms, and vision inspection systems preferred
Working knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and root cause analysis methodologies
Experience using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar CAD software for automation or tooling support is a plus
Prior exposure to manufacturing environments emphasizing safety, quality control, and continuous improvement

Pay: $24.60 - $29.62 per hour
