- Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
- Communicate with Physicians, Nurse Practitioner, residents and family members.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess resident's condition.
- Modify resident treatment plans as indicated by residents' responses and conditions.
- Direct or supervise healthcare personnel or supervise a particular unit.
- Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate resident care plans.
- Monitor all aspects of resident care, including diet and physical activity.
- Prepare residents for and assist with examinations or treatments.
Requirements Candidates must possess
:
- Licensure as an R.N. , currently licensed in Louisiana.
- 1+ year of full-time nursing experience in long term care.
- Excellent clinical, computer, and communication skills.
- The ability to work successfully in both independent and team settings.
