Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking an experienced RN Unit Manager for a 14-week contract opportunity at a skilled nursing/long-term care facility in Orono, ME.

Requirements:

Active RN license in Maine or Compact State (Required) Minimum 2-3 years of nursing experience (Required) Prior leadership experience (Charge Nurse, Supervisor, or Unit Manager) (Preferred) Experience in SNF or LTC settings (Preferred) Current BLS certification (Required) Strong communication, organization, and conflict-resolution skills

Responsibilities:

Provide clinical leadership and day-to-day oversight of the assigned unit Supervise and support RNs, LPNs, and CNAs to ensure quality care delivery Oversee admissions, discharges, and transfers Conduct resident rounds and ensure care plans are current and followed Serve as the primary clinical contact for physicians, residents, and families Audit documentation for accuracy and regulatory compliance Manage staffing schedules and daily assignments Participate in required on-call rotation
