Position Summary:

The

RN Supervisor (3-11 PM)

is responsible for overseeing and coordinating nursing care during the evening shift to ensure the highest quality of care for residents. This role provides leadership and support to nursing staff, ensures compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards, and acts as the primary clinical resource during assigned hours.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Supervise and support licensed nurses, CNAs, and other nursing staff on the 3-11 PM shift. Ensure quality nursing care is provided in accordance with resident care plans, facility policies, and state and federal regulations. Monitor and evaluate staff performance, providing coaching, guidance, and feedback as needed. Conduct walking rounds at the beginning and end of each shift to assess resident conditions and ensure care continuity. Respond promptly to emergency situations and ensure appropriate follow-up and documentation. Communicate resident changes in condition to the physician, family, and DON/ADON as appropriate. Ensure accurate and timely completion of shift documentation, incident reports, and resident records. Oversee and assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges during the shift. Maintain infection control and safety standards throughout the facility. Participate in staff education, performance evaluations, and disciplinary processes as directed. Serve as the acting administrative representative of the facility during off-hours.

Qualifications:

Current, active

Registered Nurse (RN)

license in good standing. Minimum of

2 years of clinical nursing experience

, preferably in long-term care or rehabilitation. Prior

supervisory or charge nurse experience

strongly preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and make sound clinical judgments. Knowledge of nursing standards, infection control, and regulatory compliance.

position

Evening shift: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM

May include weekends and holidays as needed.
