Responds to and participates in stroke alert events to support the clinical team and completes follow-up calls to determine patient outcomes and provide additional education and support. Serves as the stroke program clinical content expert, utilizing skilled knowledge of clinical stroke evidence-based guidelines, national accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements. Leads the stroke interdisciplinary committee(s) in partnership with the stroke medical director to improve clinical performance, standardize processes, and ensure compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards. Identifies variations in care and leads the development of corrective action plans to improve performance. Leads mortality and morbidity committee reviews to identify clinical opportunities for improving outcomes.

Bachelor's of Nursing (Required), Master'sAdvanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement, Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement, Change Management Certification (PROSCI) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Lean Bronze Certification - Accredited Issuing Body, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Registered Nurse (RN) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Six Sigma - EV Accredited Issuing Body

Pay Range:
