Job Description
An ICRN is responsible for the care of patients with non-critical, but usually very serious medical conditions who need advanced care and intensive therapies.
Responsibilities
As an ICRN some of your duties consist of:
- First patient consultation.
- Write custom plan of care based on the patient\xe2\x80\x99s condition.
- Assisting the doctors to execute appropriate treatments.
- On-going evaluations when needed based on the condition of the patient.
- Document all patient assessment results, responses to procedures and the patient\xe2\x80\x99s general progress.
- Summarize all patient information to the appropriate teams by the end of each shift.
One year of experience as an Intermediate Care Nurse within the past two years.
- Active Nursing License in good standing.
- Current Basic Life Support through American Heart Association.
- Negative Drug Screen.
- Weekly Pay

6 RN s, 2 tech s, 1 secretary o Night Shift: 6 RN s, 2 tech s until 2300, 1 tech until 0300 Patient Ratios:3-4:1 Type of equipment: Bedside monitors, EKG, bladder scanner, lab draws, EMR: MediTech Hiring Profile Must have : ACLS and BLS Drip titration skills (Diltiazem, Nitro, Heparin), These are top 3, others are titrated on the unit Basic rhythm recognition Preferred or nice to have : Teamwork oriented Flexible with shifts List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Lab draws, EKG, bladder scanning, bedside thoracentesis/paracentesis, blood product administration, straight cath, Foley insertion, removal and care, Central line care and removal, peritoneal dialysis Best personality Fit: Energetic, hardworking, easy going, friendly, team player Floating Area(s): Med/Surg Telemetry Dress Code : Scrub Color/Attire: All navy
