Job Overview:

The

RN Nurse Residency

program provides new nurse a safe, caring, supportive and robust learning environment for a new RN nurse to gain clinical competency and achieve transition from student to professional.

Qualifications:

Required:

Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing BSN Graduation within the last year and/or less than 6-months of nursing practice Demonstrated passion in the area of interest Flexibility to attend orientation as determined by the program GPA over 3.2 Leadership and desire to become involved in a professional practice journey Ability to attend focus groups and additional learning requirements for practice achievement

Certifications and Licenses Required:

Current New Jersey RN license Current AHA BLS ACLS & PALS Certification

Scheduling Requirements:

December 2025 Program

Shifts Variable-either evening or night to be determined after orientation is completed

Essential Functions:

A preceptor and relationship-guided new graduate transition program. Continuing education and ongoing enhancement of professional development. An understanding and application of professional accountability and ethical practice inherent in the role of the registered nurse. Recognition of the effects of skilled nursing practice on patient safety, quality and satisfaction. Using a holistic and relationship-centered nursing practice framework of Jean Watson's Theory of Human Caring Self-care highlighted as important to a safe and fulfilling nursing practice for nurse and patient. Hired into the area of specialty Variable Day Evening or Night Shift
