Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking an experienced Behavioral Health Registered Nurse for our hospital to ensure that we deliver exceptional care to our psychiatric patients. \xc2\xb7 As a member of our team, you will be accountable for essential clinical knowledge that will positively affect patient outcomes within the scope of nursing practice while assessing, planning, intervening and evaluating care.

\xc2\xb7 You will display your strong and accurate clinical judgment and expert-nursing skills while following company polices including those related to confidentiality (written, verbal, electronic and digital).

\xc2\xb7 In collaboration with your healthcare team, you will report critical information or change in condition of patients.

\xc2\xb7 You will provide comfort and prevent suffering through presence and attentiveness that would include pain assessment and reassessment.

\xc2\xb7 As a Registered Nurse in this unit, you will document effectively, succinctly, and timely according to organizational policy.

\xc2\xb7 In order to provide a great patient experience, you will collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team to coordinate care for an effective and current plan of care.

What qualifications you will need:

• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date
• Registered Nurse
• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree
