Status: Full time, 8 hour shifts Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:00AM - 3:30PM with call responsibilities The OR Clinical Nurse is a key member of the surgical team who functions in a circulating and scrubbing capacity. Services lines we provide include: General surgery, urology, ophthalmology, podiatry, pain and endoscopy procedures. Our nurses provide specialized care for all these services. The OR Clinical Nurse utilizes the nursing process in planning and delivering nursing care; provides for the educational needs of patients and families; provides skilled, compassionate nursing care to patients during the intra-operative experience; demonstrates skill in written and verbal communication; maintains and updates skills and knowledge base in keeping with expected performance levels; projects a professional and positive attitude towards patients, staff, visitors and hospital; participates as a team member to meet departmental needs and participates in the on call schedule as needed. The Surgical Services department has 2 operating rooms and a procedure room. We provide mostly outpatient procedures with limited inpatient. We provide care to patients ages 16 and older. We also offer financial benefits for certification. Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited Nursing Program required
• Bachelor of Science Degree in nursing or Associates Degree (ADN); 3-5 years of OR experience strongly preferred

• Licensed Registered Nurse in Vermont required
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• ACLS Certification within 3 months of hire
