POSITION OVERVIEW:

Responsible to plan, implement, and evaluate care for surgical patients including robotic cases, and higher acuity cardiothoracic cases. Ensures patient care, safety standards, and documentation is carried out according to AORN standards, recommended practices, and guidelines. Receives direction from: Providers, Anesthesia providers, Nurse Manager. Gives direction to: Surgical Technician, Instrument Technician, Materials Mgmt. Clerk.

SHIFT: Days, Full-time

EDUCATION:

Graduate of an accredited RN program required.

EXPERIENCE:

Previous OR experience preferred.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS:

• Current MT State RN license required.
• CNOR desired.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Basic Nursing Principles and Procedures.
• Principles of Asepsis.
• Basic Office Skills \xe2\x80\x93 computer and keyboarding.
