Requirements:

Education:

Graduate of an accredited RN program

Experience:

Minimum 3 years of nursing experience At least 1 year in long-term care or sub-acute care Prior supervisory experience preferred

Licensure & Certification:

Active NYS RN License Current CPR Certification Accu-Chek and IV Therapy Certification Annual CEU Compliance

Key Responsibilities:

Administrative:

Lead and coordinate clinical operations on assigned unit or shift Support and guide staff with clinical decisions and delegation Ensure thorough assessment and care planning for residents Conduct frequent rounds to ensure care standards and resident needs are met Monitor and follow up on nursing documentation and performance Collaborate with the Director of Nursing on quality and compliance issues

Personnel:

Promote interdepartmental cooperation to maintain seamless resident care Conduct regular team meetings to identify and resolve issues Enforce policies fairly and equitably, without bias or discrimination
