We are looking to hire a Full-Time Registered Nurse for our Neuro Surgical Trauma SD U at our Level II Trauma Center in Boise! This position will be located at our Regional Medical Center off I-184 and Curtis Rd.

New graduate nurses are welcome to apply to this posting. The SDU is a fantastic opportunity for a new graduate nurse looking to grow into a critical care unit in the future.

As a RN working in the NeST you will:

Have an opportunity to work in a Level II Trauma Center and a Level I Comprehensive Stroke Center

Obtain experience working in the FIRST and ONLY Neuro Surgical Trauma Unit in Idaho

Work in a supportive environment while focusing on specialized neuro care

Work withthe only board certified, fellowship- trained neuro critical care doctors in the state

Be part of a pioneering program in the Treasure Valley and Idaho

Provide next level care for critically ill neurological patients

Have the opportunity to grow and advance in your nursing career

What you can expect:

RN\'s working in the NeST SDU will care for post operative patients along with patients with traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, seizures, strokes, and other neurological disorders

To be part of a unit that consists of 18 critical care beds and 17 step down beds

The unit offers strong leadership and great opportunities for growth and advancement

What you will need to start work with us:

Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Idaho

BLS certification at date of hire

American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support for HealthCare Provider (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 12 months of hire

Prior critical care experience preferred but not required
