RN Unit Manager

to oversee our 60-bed long-term care unit on the

day shift, Monday through Friday

Position Highlights:

Full-time, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM Oversee and manage two 31- bed units Ensure quality care, compliance, and smooth daily operations Conduct regular rounds and monitor resident care and staff performance Lead interdisciplinary care plan meetings Provide timely updates to ADON/DON on resident status Ensure accurate documentation and medication administration Respond to emergencies and support clinical team as needed Foster a positive, team-focused environment Mentor, support, and supervise nursing staff

Requirements:

Valid RN license (New York State) Minimum 1 year of experience in a nursing home setting Willingness to learn and grow in a leadership role Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to make sound clinical decisions and handle emergencies * Team player with a compassionate, resident-first mindset
