Ro Health is looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team at a state prison in Iowa!
This position plays a vital role in providing essential healthcare services to incarcerated individuals, ensuring a safe, hygienic, and therapeutic environment within the facility.
Details:

• Location: Coralville or Mount Pleasant
• Schedule: 6am-2pm or 2pm-10pm and every other weekend required
• Contract Details: 12 weeks with possibility of extension
• Employment Type: Contract

Qualifications:

• Active Iowa Registered Nurse (RN) license (in good standing) or multi-state license
• At least 3 years of RN experience
• Ability to pass a strict background check
• Ability to pass a drug screen

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care, including assessments, medication administration, and treatments
• Monitor and document patients? health status and respond to medical emergencies
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop and implement treatment plans
• Educate patients on health conditions, medication adherence, and preventive care
• Assist with wound care, IV therapy, and chronic disease management
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, safety protocols, and infection control standards
• Supervise and support LVNs, CNAs, and other healthcare staff
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with facility guidelines
