Rn Evening Hospice Visit Nurse

Job Description
We provide compassionate and mission minded hospice care to NE Oklahoma and NWA. We have a variety of shift configurations with thoughtful benefit and compensation packages. This position will work onsite and in patient homes. Position requires use of personal vehicle, a valid driver's license and current auto insurance.
General Description:
The RN is an integral part of the hospice interdisciplinary care team and as such is responsible for providing patient care visits, assessing medical needs, liaising with physicians, attending deaths, triage calls, and assisting with the admission process. The RN must have an understanding that hospice care must be delivered according to accepted standards of practice, guided by the mission of the organization and the patient/family's needs and concerns, the RN blends all services of the hospice into an integrated program of support. May be required to fulfill RN On Call duties as needed.Requirements
: Current unrestricted AR RN license, BLS certification, strong assessment skills with critical thinking and high level of problem solving within a healthcare facility. Strong documentation and communication with the ability to stay calm and cope with human suffering/emergencies. Prefer hospice experience, home health, or acute care nursing experience with computer charting experience.
