Registered Nurse (RN) - Endoscopy

Shift: Days, 36-40 hours days, 4 days a week, 9-10 hour shifts, 7:30am-5:00pm or 7:00am-5:30pm

Call Required - One weekday (1730-0360) on-call shift per week, One 48hr 0700 Saturday - 0630 Monday weekend on-call shift a month and holiday call shifts.

Job Overview:

The Endoscopy RN provides specialized nursing care for patients undergoing endoscopic procedures, including advanced therapeutics such as ERCP and EUS.

Job duties:

Preparing and maintaining procedure rooms and equipment Ensuring adherence to sterile technique and safety standards Performing comprehensive patient assessments and monitoring sedation throughout procedures; anticipating and assisting the physician's needs during diagnostic and therapeutic interventions Managing specimen handling and accurate clinical documentation Responding effectively to urgent or emergent situations Demonstrating full competency in all required endoscopic procedures and technologies as outlined in the procedural competency standards.

Required:

Travel experience required Advanced therapeutics ERCP and EUS required Required to able to work in procedure rooms and have experience/training.
