We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in emergency medicine and critical care, demonstrating the ability to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. This role requires proficiency in various nursing practices, including triage, patient assessment, and emergency interventions. The Registered Nurse will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Night Shift 7p-7a every other weekend/rotation as needed
2 + years tele experience
1 year previous travel experience
tele experience, ACLS, BLS.
Tele test will be administered on first day and it will be pass/fail. Fail could result in assignment termination
Study material will be provided at the time of assignment confirmation.

Flu vaccine required
Current staff will need to be vaccinated
Active MA license required
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Room setting, including triage and initial assessments.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
Perform advanced procedures such as IV insertion, suturing, and airway management.
Monitor patients' vital signs and respond promptly to changes in condition.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and hospital policies.
Educate patients and families on health management, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to NCQA standards.
Qualifications
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
Experience in Emergency Medicine or Critical Care is highly preferred.
Familiarity with EMR systems such as Epic or Cerner is advantageous.
Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support techniques.
Proficiency in patient care practices including IV infusion, phlebotomy, medication administration, and diagnostic evaluations.
Experience working with diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, and individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
