Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Upland Hills Health - Dodgeville Hospital Campus

Role & Department:

Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department

Hours & Shift:

Part-time (.6 FTE) evening/night (6 p.m. to 6 a.m.) shift position. Weekend and holiday rotation.

Role Responsibilities:

The primary role of this Registered Nurse will be to provide total nursing care of patients presenting to the Emergency/Urgent Care Department This nurse will assess patient condition, evaluate and implement nursing care plans in accordance with appropriate ED nursing standards Will work with other members of the Emergency Services Team under the direction of the Emergency Department Physician to provide patient care Provide information and education to patients and families about care plans and goals and the rationale for the plans and goals

Qualifications:

Seeking a Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Wisconsin Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) certification is preferred ACLS, BLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC or willingness to obtain are required Prior Emergency/trauma nursing experience is highly preferred as well Prior experience using the EPIC medical record system is preferred but not required
