Job Description



The Emergency Department works closely with local ambulance services to provide patients with expert 24-hour, seven-day-a-week services.

With an average of 7300 visits per year, the Emergency Department is one of the busiest departments in the hospital. With staff of 5 board-certified emergency physicians, 10 specialty nurses and 3 paramedics, patients can expect the same high quality emergency medicine care that you find in a larger hospital without the long wait.

The majority of emergency medical issues can be treated at the facility. For those patients who need to be referred to a specialty hospital, the facility has developed an extensive network of working relationships with many specialty hospitals throughout New England.

IV Pumps: Sigma Smart Pumps
EMR: McKesson Paragon
Dress Code: Personal scrubs of any color. No denim, no T-shirts. No Perfume/Fragrances

Travelers MUST be able to work independently and hit the ground running!

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

  • 2 years CURRENT ED experience - Required
  • IV start skills - Required
  • Central/Arterial Line Skills - Required
  • Ventilator and BiPAP experience - Required
  • Rural hospital experience - Required
MUST BE WILLING TO FLOAT TO MS WHEN NEEDED.

COVID VACCINATION REQUIRED FOR THIS NEED.

Requested time off during the course of this assignment MUST be noted and verified at upload. RTO REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD WILL NOT BE APPROVED!!
NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better).
Traveler must be willing to work Thanksgiving (including Friday and weekend after) AND Christmas-New Year Day Block, (If Needed/Scheduled). RTO during these holidays will not be approved.

  • New Hampshire
  • Compact Allowed
ADDITIONAL LICENSE REQUIREMENTS
  • NH or Compact license must be active at the time of submission.
Duration: 8 weeks with the possibility to extend

Weeks is a 25-bed critical access hospital offering medical, surgical, and intensive care services. In addition, a wide variety of outpatient services are available, including cardiac and physical rehabilitation; fully-staffed oncology department; 24-hour emergency care; a fully equipped laboratory; and an extensive radiology department. The facility is blessed with strong leadership and a dedicated community that allows us to meet the ever-changing requirements of today\xe2\x80\x99s healthcare environment.

Lancaster NH is a rural community in the Northern White Mountains and the southernmost part of NH\'s Great North Woods. Lancaster NH is known for its outdoor recreation (snowmobiling, hiking, and cross-country skiing) as well as its boutique-lined Main Street
