An exciting opportunity has become available in gorgeous Virginia. A renowned Ambulatory Surgery Center is searching for a Director of Nursing to join their talented team!

The well-established, ambulatory surgery center is comprised of a team of professionals dedicated to providing outstanding safe, quality care at this busy, award-winning surgery center. In addition to being CMS certified, the surgery center is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care. There are a variety of specialties offered at this busy ambulatory surgery center, including orthopedics, gastrointestinal, ophthalmology procedures, plastic surgery, podiatry procedures and urology procedures.

The Nurse Director of Ambulatory Surgery Center will be responsible for budget management, oversight of clinical and administrative operations, with a focus on quality improvement and business development. The RN Director of Ambulatory Surgery Center will serve as internal risk manager and is responsible for management of all aspects of the environment of care, personnel, materials/equipment, education of personnel, and administrative duties. This role will oversee the OR, Preop, PACU and will also be responsible for managing quality improvement efforts, risk management, infection control, and staff education.
