We are seeking a
Charge Nurse (RN)
for our newest Skilled Nursing Community (Transitional Care units, Long Term Care) in downtown St. Paul, Minnesota! This role leads, supervises and directs and/or delegates all nursing functions on the assigned unit or floor to assure care is provided per plan of care. This position requires demonstrating sound management skills through effective problem-solving and decision-making. They are responsible to supervise in compliance with State and Federal regulations as well as Ebenezer Standards and policies. The team includes a Director of Nursing, Nurse Managers, Charge Nurses, Nursing Assistants, Social Worker, and more.
This nurse leadership schedule include;64 hours every two weeks ; Full Time
Evening shift ; 2:00pm-10:30pm ; Shift differential availabe
Long Term Care and Memory Care Units
Block Schedule:
+ Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday
+ Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday Every other weekend and holiday rotation
Responsibilities:
Assures staff compliance with State and Federal regulations, Nursing Standards of Practice and Ebenezer Quality Assurance Standards
Assures Care Plan, medical records and other documentation are up to date
Administers medications and performs treatments per physician orders and facility policies
Reports problem areas to management and provides suggestions and solutions
Serves as facility supervisor and assumes administrative responsibilities as assigned
Required Qualifications:
Vocational/Technical Training or Associate Degree - Registered Nurse
RN Licensure/Registered with the MN Board of Nursing
Current CPR /BLS certified
One to three years of experience
