What You'll Do



Provide clinical leadership and oversight for daily Hospice House operations. Coordinate and triage General Inpatient (GIP) referrals and admissions, ensuring timely and appropriate level-of-care determinations. Collaborate closely with the hospice intake team, medical director, and interdisciplinary team (IDT) to ensure seamless, high-quality care. Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized plans of care focused on symptom management and patient comfort. Mentor, guide, and support nursing and CNA staff--fostering teamwork, professional growth, and compassionate care delivery. Maintain accurate, timely documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and operational excellence.

What You'll Bring



Current RN license in the State of Maine and CPR certification (CHPN preferred). Graduate of an accredited professional nursing program; BSN preferred. Minimum two years of recent clinical nursing experience required; hospice, palliative, or acute care experience preferred. Strong ability to assess, triage, and determine appropriate hospice levels of care. Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
