Position(s) available:
FULL TIME
Qualifications:
Current unencumbered State of Massachusetts RN license Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, PPS, PDPM, MDS and third-party payment Knowledge of regulatory agencies/licensure standards Must have minimum 5 years' experience working in geriatrics with subacute experience Must have strong clinical background Case management experience strongly preferred
Responsibilities:
Monitoring level of HMO patients on admission and throughout stay Obtaining prior approval for all HMO patients throughout the facility for transportation, therapy, etc. Tracking HMO and Medicare days Obtain pre-authorization as needed for special services and equipment Ensuring sound clinical and financial outcomes Attending family meetings
