Role Summary

NurseAmerica is seeking an experienced Risk Management Manager in Henderson, NV to join a leading healthcare facility in Las Vegas, NV. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring patient safety and compliance with regulatory standards while supporting the Director of Risk Management in leading the hospital's Patient Safety and Risk Management Program.Assist in developing and implementing hospital-wide risk management and patient safety initiatives. Analyze incident reports and collaborate with department leaders to reduce potential risks. Ensure compliance with

Joint Commission

and

CMS/DHS

regulations. Support ongoing education, data collection, and process improvement to strengthen safety culture. Serve as a resource for regulatory readiness, performance improvement, and quality standards. Partner with clinical and administrative teams to address risk trends and mitigate liability exposure.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree

from an accredited college or university (required)

1-3 years of experience

in Risk Management or related clinical field Strong knowledge of

hospital accreditation and regulatory standards

(Joint Commission, CMS, etc.) Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills

Preferred:

Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (

CPHRM

)
