Management Level Senior Manager

As a Senior Manager, you\'ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:

  • Engaging proactively with clients to identify challenges, recommend solutions and manage expectations;
  • Demonstrating active listening skills to gain understanding of key customer and market issues;
  • Designing appropriate analysis for diagnostics and implementation, analyzing and interpreting ambiguous and complex information and relationships;
  • Articulating clearly PwC\xe2\x80\x99s value-propositions and preparing final drafts of major deliverables assuring quality control;
  • Anticipating client needs, recognizing and acting on opportunities to enhance client service and expand the scope of engagement;
  • Managing and communicating with stakeholders to obtain awareness, understanding, buy-in, and support;
  • Assisting in financial administration of engagements such as budgets, billing, and collections;
  • Leveraging the firm\'s benchmark data in new business development, diagnostic, and implementation situations, and consistently contributes relevant materials to build the firm\'s intellectual property; and,

Certification(s) Preferred:

CPA or SHRM or CFP or CFA or CCP or CEP

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:

Demonstrates intimate knowledge and understanding of the design, regulatory, compliance, financial reporting and technical aspects of employee benefit plans and compensation arrangements in either a major law-firm, consulting or corporate environment with areas of focus to include a combination of any of the following:
  • Possessing knowledge of broad-based Total Rewards, Compensation and Benefits including, qualified and non-qualified retirement plans, executive compensation and health and welfare arrangements;
  • Possessing knowledge of tax implications of employee benefit programs;
  • Possessing knowledge of employment tax requirements;
  • Possessing knowledge of Equity/Stock based compensation;
  • Possessing knowledge of Talent/Job architecture and salary structure; and,
  • Possessing knowledge of compensation tax, policy research, analysis and working with complex tax issues.
