Revenue Cycle Director
to lead our billing, collections, and financial operations through this exciting growth phase.
Position Overview
The Revenue Cycle Director will oversee all aspects of the revenue cycle, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and maximum reimbursement while supporting practice expansion. This is a hands-on leadership role reporting directly to the Practice Administrator.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end revenue cycle functions: charge capture, coding, billing, AR follow-up, denials management, and collections
Supervise a small RCM team (currently 2-3 staff) and scale processes for 4 providers by 2026
Optimize workflows for multi-payer mix (Medicare, Medicaid, commercial, self-pay)
Collaborate with the front offices of multiple locations- Hattiesburg, Meridian, and D'Iberville- to assure accurate patient information input and verification of benefits.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, CMS, and payer-specific guidelines
Analyze KPIs (clean claim rate, days in AR, denial rate) and implement performance improvements
Collaborate with providers on documentation, coding accuracy, and prior authorization efficiency
Lead payer contract reviews and credentialing for new providers
Implement and maintain RCM software
Prepare monthly financial reports and revenue forecasts
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field (Master's preferred)

+ years of progressive revenue cycle leadership experience in a procedure-based specialty practice(e.g., vascular, cardiology, orthopedics, interventional radiology, surgery center, other specialty procedure-based practices will also be considered)
Expert knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and vein procedure coding
(preferred)
Proven track record of reducing AR days and denial rates
Experience scaling RCM operations during practice growth
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and RCM dashboards
Certified Professional Coder (CPC) is required as this is the gold standard for outpatient coding and essential for overseeing accuracy in vein procedures (e.g., EVLT, sclerotherapy, venograms)
Certified Revenue Cycle Specialist (CRCS) a plus
Excellent communication and team leadership abilities
