RETINA SURGEON NEEDED IN Swansea, Illinois
Thriving mid-sized multi-specialty practice with 10 locations, experiencing remarkable growth and expansion as they prepare to open their newest location at the end of 2025 and are actively seeking additional surgeons to join our esteemed team. With our current physicians at capacity, this is a unique opportunity to step in and access a robust patient base immediately, both clinically and surgically.
They are searching for a fellowship trained, BC/BE Retina specialist, interested in anterior segment and cataracts, with exceptional surgical skills and the talent to develop and maintain excellent relationships with their referring physicians, as well as functioning comfortably with clinical and surgical demand.
About the Position:
Immediate surgical volume: cataract and vitreoretinal procedures including retinal detachment repair, macular surgery, diabetic eye disease, and complex posterior segment cases
Established referral base with immediate clinic and OR access
1:3 months call rotation (ODs take first call)
Mentorship and collaboration with nationally recognized subspecialists
Teaching, research, and leadership opportunities available
