The Retail Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all of the day-to-day activates within the Gift Shop during an assigned shift.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensures policies and procedures are applied consistently, equitably and in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Assist Retail Manager in training, supervising staff, discipline, and evaluation of staff.
Train Retail personnel with assistance from the Retail Manager in the proper execution of job functions.
To monitor and assist the Retail Manager in meeting monthly sales goals.
Ensures that a maximum level of service, satisfaction and respect in the Gift Shop is maintained.
Assist the Retail Manager in developing work schedules and assignments.
Timely communication with all other departments.
Work with the Retail Team and the Retail Manager to help maintain merchandising and presentation of the Gift Shop.
Maintain and ensure an accurate inventory tracking and account for variances.
To ensure that all orders and payments are being made in a timely manner.
Ensures that all Cashiers are educated on our products and services.
Review sales reports daily and maintain accurate inventory, ensuring items are in stock.
Effectively resolves guest issues and complaints.
Assist in conducting staff meetings.
Ability to assume Retail Cashier duties when necessary.
Monitors breaks and lunches for all Retail personnel.
Must attend and be certified in all applicable trainings required.
All other duties as assigned by Management.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous cash handling experience preferred.
Excellent guest service and interpersonal skills a must.
Flexibility working in a fast-paced environment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong math skills a must.
Willing to train and attend trainings.
Familiarity with computers preferred.
Must be able to obtain and retain a gaming license through the Tule River Tribe Gaming Commission.
PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL:
While performing the duties of this job the team member is required to talk and hear.
Regularly required to reach with hands and arms, use hand to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls.
Occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Must be able to operate in mentally and physically stressful situations.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to stand for entire shift.
Noise level is moderate to high on the casino floor.
Exposed daily to flashing lights, ringing bells and smoke, associated with a restaurant/fast food restaurant type of atmosphere.
Must be able to perform all essential duties of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.

The casino operates 24/7. Schedule, shift, and hours will vary.
