Retail Store Manager Qualifications

One year of prior leadership experience is required, and retail management is a definite plus

At least two years retail sales experience required

Proficient knowledge of cell phones, computers, and point of sale systems strongly preferred

Retail Store Manager Responsibilities

Sell no-contract wireless phones, service plans, features and accessories in a fast-paced retail environment

Deliver outstanding service, striving to retain and gain customers

Understand customers' needs and help them discover how our no contract products meet those needs

Engage with the community through outside sales events or promotions

Work flexible hours, weekends and holidays at various locations as needed

Perform daily opening and closing procedures, maintain store appearance, and help create a positive working environment

Supervise all day-to-day store operations, including merchandising and promotions, bank deposits, and employee scheduling

Ensure store safety and security, including cash handling and inventory management

Conduct employee training and on-going coaching to meet sales goals, as well as address performance issues as needed
