Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Store Manager to oversee daily operations at our convenience store. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining inventory control. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while effectively leading a team.

Responsibilities

Supervise and train store staff, including assistant managers, to ensure high performance and adherence to company policies. Manage inventory levels, including ordering, receiving, and stocking products to maintain optimal stock levels. Oversee cash register operations, ensuring accurate transactions and efficient customer service. Maintain a clean and organized store environment that enhances the shopping experience for customers. Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints in a professional manner to ensure satisfaction. Utilize POS systems for sales tracking and inventory management. Conduct regular audits of inventory control processes to identify areas for improvement. Foster a positive work culture that encourages teamwork and employee engagement. Work flexible hours as dictated by store needs.

Experience

Previous experience as a Store Manager or in an assistant manager role within a similar store setting is preferred. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficiency in inventory management practices and systems. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building relationships with customers. Familiarity with cash register operations and POS systems is essential. Multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customer bases. Knowledge of budgeting principles and financial management within a retail context is beneficial.
