Position Snapshot



Lead with Precision:

Coach and guide our Budtenders to consistently deliver a seamless, cozy retail experience while ensuring adherence to high standards.

Operational Oversight:

Manage daily operations with a proactive approach, swiftly addressing minor issues and ensuring all aspects run smoothly.

Efficient Scheduling:

Create and manage employee schedules to ensure optimal coverage and peak efficiency.

Structured Training:

Conduct regular training sessions, progress check-ins, and team meetings to keep staff updated on product knowledge, sales techniques, and safety protocols.

System Management:

Oversee POS systems, cash handling, bank drops, and other operational processes with meticulous attention to accuracy and security.

Strategic Sales Growth:

Develop and implement data-driven strategies to boost sales and enhance customer satisfaction, aligning with the store's goals.

KPI Reporting:

Compile and present weekly KPI reports for Cozy's CEO and Leadership Team, providing insights and actionable strategies for continuous growth and improved performance.

Collaborative Promotion Planning:

Work closely with the inventory team to plan and execute in-store promotions and events that reflect the Cozy Brand, driving customer engagement.

Crisis Management:

Prepare for and manage any potential crises, such as customer disputes or employee concerns, with a focus on minimizing operational disruption and maintaining a controlled environment.

Qualifications



Must be 21 or older Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience in retail management will also be considered. Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail management Knowledge of cannabis products and local regulations preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to work collaboratively Experience in driving sales and executing marketing strategies Excellent problem-solving skills Proficient in using POS systems, Google Workspace and Microsoft Office. Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Reliable and punctual with strong organizational skills and follow-through. Familiarity with the downtown Austin retail landscape, customer demographics, and market trends is a strong advantage.
