Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing Conduct product demonstrations and upselling to enhance customer experience and increase sales Maintain attractive merchandise displays through merchandising and stocking efforts Provide knowledgeable assistance on product features, especially during product demos Manage inventory by restocking shelves and organizing stockroom items efficiently Uphold excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely Support cashiering duties with basic math skills to ensure accurate transactions and change management Make sure the store is clean and tidy. (Sweeping/Mopping)

Experience

Previous retail experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in team settings Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer bases effectively Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and retail math enhances performance in this role Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for engaging with customers and team members Experience working in grocery stores or similar retail environments is advantageous but not mandatory
