JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Greet and interact with customers. Organize and effectively merchandise items for sale. Demonstrate and explain merchandise, selecting and suggesting options suitable for the customers' needs. Utilize customer-focused selling skills, add-on selling, closing skills, and other sales generating skills. Accurately complete sales using the point-of-sale system according to established procedures. Process returns and exchanges. Monitor all merchandise for correct location assignments, accurate and clean bin labels, expired products, and stock rotation. Assist customers by loading and unloading products as needed. Maintain product stock in the store and warehouse. Assemble products and displays. Safely perform propane dispenser operations. Safely operate a forklift and pallet jack. Maintain a safe and clean work environment. Exhibit an ability to receive feedback, adapt to new processes and continuously develop skills. Demonstrate the ability to collaborate, communicate well and effectively relay information with an emphasis on developing positive professional relationships. Practice punctual and reliable attendance. Perform other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or equivalent. Possess a valid driver license and maintain a safe driving record Must pass pre-employment drug screen as a condition of employment. Proficiency using Microsoft Windows Physical ability to stand for extended periods; bend, stoop and kneel frequently. Lift, carry, push, pull and load up to 60 pounds. Have a proven track record of being dependable and reliable. Effectively communicate verbally and in writing. Strong organizational, multi-tasking, problem-solving and analytical skills. Commitment to excellence especially in terms of providing outstanding customer service

SCHEDULE

This is a part time position; 16-32 hours per week (schedule may vary). Sunday through Saturday. Must be

available to work evenings and/or weekends as needed.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
