Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a strong ability to engage with customers to enhance their shopping experience. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will play a key role in driving sales and ensuring customer satisfaction in our store.

Duties

Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers and assisting them with their needs. Operate the cash register and process transactions accurately using POS systems. Maintain knowledge of current promotions, products, and services to effectively upsell items. Assist customers with product selection and provide recommendations based on their preferences. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a professional manner. Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring merchandise is properly displayed. Support inventory management by restocking shelves and conducting inventory counts as needed. Collaborate with team members to achieve store sales goals and enhance the overall shopping experience.

Qualifications

Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and retail math calculations. Experience operating cash registers and familiarity with POS systems is preferred. Knowledge of upselling techniques to promote additional sales opportunities. Previous retail sales experience is a plus, but not required; we welcome candidates eager to learn and will happily train you! Ability to demonstrate phone etiquette when handling customer calls or inquiries. Supervisory experience is an advantage for those interested in potential leadership roles within the store.
