We have been Des Moines\' premier wine and liquor store since 1987. In 2001 we opened a second location in West Des Moines on 50th Street just south of the I-235 freeway exit in WDM just past Valley West Drive a.k.a. the former Valley West Mall. Our company is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to help support our team. The candidate will be responsible for greeting customers, suggesting products, taking inventory and other general sales duties. We are currently seeking individuals with a strong desire to assist customers, as well as a strong work ethic and a strong attention to detail. Responsibilities:

• Open new credit accounts for customers.
• Confer with business unit management and customers for sales, delivery, and pricing information.
• Maintain and control work area to ensure a professional image.
• Be able to work in different areas of the store for sales promotion events.
• Match merchandise with sales promotions.
• Automate and maintain the point of sale system.
• Assist customers with obtaining layaway deposits, performing transactions and obtaining merchandise from storage.
• Create a friendly shopping environment by communicating with customers.
• Communicate effectively with co-workers.
• Customize sales techniques according to customer\'s needs.,.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour Benefits:
