Lemon Tree is a very special gift shop with two locations: one in the heart of Hanover, steps from the Dartmouth Green and the Hanover Inn, and the other at Powerhouse Mall, at the entrance directly across from LLBean! Responsibilities & Duties

Sales:

Ideally will have strong sales background (preferably in a high-end environment), understanding the art of low-key, relational sales, leading to long-term customer loyalty.

Customer Service:

Demonstrates superior communication skills, commitment to gracious and excellent customer service at all times, understanding that our customers are the only reason our doors are open.

Operations

: Excellence in all areas of store operations, including checking in and pricing of incoming product; keeping shelves stocked as product sells throughout the day; keeping store clean and neat throughout the day.

Technology

: Ability to operate computer and Point of Sale (POS) system, ability to assist with Social Media a plus.

Merchandising

: Creative in assisting with product display and merchandising, as directed by supervisor.

Qualifications & Experience

Experienced retail professional preferred, but will train right candidate Strong and accurate basic math skills Computer, Point of Sale (POS), Social Media business posting ideal College degree preferred, High School degree required

Willingness to be respectful of and promote a positive company image to our customers Ability to work a flexible schedule to include some evenings, weekends, and holidays Ability to float between West Lebanon and Hanover stores depending on staffing needs Willingness to spend time learning details of product information in order to better serve our customers Ability to multitask, while being attentive to customers and remaining flexible to the needs of the business Ability to stand for the duration of the scheduled shift, 4 to 8 hours Ability to go up and down stairs quickly, carrying product, and to kneel, bend, twist, stretch and stoop when working on displays or putting away product. Ability to lift and mobilize medium to large items up to 40 lbs., while utilizing appropriate safety techniques Uphold store maintenance and cleanliness standards by keeping store clean and tidy throughout the day Comply with all company policies and procedures
