What you'll do

Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers with their inquiries and purchases. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, handling cash transactions and maintaining accurate cash handling practices. Conduct engaging product demonstrations that highlight features and benefits to encourage sales. Supervise and mentor junior staff members, fostering a collaborative team environment. Implement effective merchandising strategies to enhance product visibility and drive sales. Maintain stock levels by restocking shelves, organizing inventory, and ensuring the store is clean and inviting. Utilize retail math skills to manage inventory levels and assist with pricing adjustments as necessary. Communicate effectively with customers over the phone, providing information about products and services while demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.

Basic qualifications

Strong communication skills with a focus on customer engagement. Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing inventory accurately.

Preferred qualifications

Previous experience in retail sales or customer service roles. Bilingual abilities to cater to a diverse customer base. Familiarity with grocery store operations is a plus. Experience in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities.
