Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly, identify their needs, and recommend suitable products or services to enhance their shopping experience Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities to maximize sales Maintain attractive merchandise displays through merchandising and stocking to ensure the store looks inviting and organized Assist with inventory management by stocking shelves, conducting stock counts, and managing product replenishment Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions, offering assistance, and maintaining professional phone etiquette Support in supervising team members during shifts, helping to coordinate daily operations and ensure excellent service delivery

Requirements

Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are key Strong communication skills are highly valued for engaging diverse customers Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic retail math for accurate transactions Demonstrated ability to perform merchandising, stocking, and cashiering duties efficiently Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to foster positive interactions Supervising experience is a plus for those interested in leadership opportunities within the team Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work flexible hours as needed

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
